TFC, short for Thomas Fuchs Creative, is launching an encompassed bar-ware collection titled, Remains in none other than the prestigious Barney’s stores nationwide this fall/winter 2011/2012 season.
This artfully designed and non-traditional, progressive line will feature visually-stunning, marble, ice buckets; silver tongs made with exceptionally hand-crafted skull details, silver drink stirrers which mimic femurs as well as coasters that which tie this entire gifted collection together grounded in unique style. It’s quite the feat to commence in transition from trade to retail. Here, Thomas Fuchs has finessed a collection with style and vision. A glassware line is also available -featuring intricate patterns and a vast color palate- inspired by the earth captured within its raw form. Encompassing hues and textures that are palpable at –a- glance, this eco-friendly collection incorporates luxury, passion and purpose.

Traditional techniques such as hand-carving, lost wax casting as well as glass-blowing are accessible at an interesting price-point without having had to compromise the captivating design aesthetic. Launching into the retail market with a line of home accessories and bar-ware, this full-bodied collection gives an entree into an exciting new consumer genre in which the female consumer can relate to and the male consumer can appreciate. TFC brings a twist to the common perspective given the collections such as “Remains” using the skull as a tool for inspiration; “Botanicals” of killer plants and inlaid unassuming “Bubbles”. This precisely timed launch justifies retail purchasing by encouraging the consumer to build a timeless collection of daily objects that evoke emotion while being functional.
